The 13th District encompasses a diverse array of urban and rural communities across central and southwestern Illinois. As the most bipartisan member of Congress from Illinois, Rodney is proud to represent a diverse district like the 13th.
The 13th District of Illinois includes all or part of 14 counties including Bond, Calhoun, Champaign, Christian, DeWitt, Greene, Jersey, Macon, Macoupin, Madison, McLean, Montgomery, Piatt, and Sangamon counties.
Industries important to the 13th District include education, health care, and manufacturing. The 13th District includes the campuses of eight four-year colleges and universities and five community colleges. Agriculture is also an important industry in the 13th District. Farmland in central and southwestern Illinois is some of the most productive land in the world.
Rodney is proud to be a member of committees in the House whose work and policies are critically important to the 13th District, including the House Agriculture Committee and the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure.
